The Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) and the Asian Development Bank Institute (ADBI), with the support of the Government of Japan, are organising a Roundtable on Insurance and Retirement Saving on 22-23 June 2016 and a Seminar on Disaster Risk Financing in Asia on 24 June 2016 in Tokyo, Japan.

Mack participated in the SESSION 4: Institutional investors and long-term investment, and the impact of solvency modernisation initiatives as a panelist.
The panel was moderated by Ms. Mamiko Yokoi-Arai,Principal Administrator, Directorate for Financial and Enterprise Affairs, OECD, and the following speakers made presentations:
- Mr. Takashi Hamano, Assistant Commissioner, Financial Services Agency, Japan
- Mr. John Huff, US NAIC President Director
- Makoto Okubo, General Manager, International Affairs, New York Representative Office, Nippon Life Insurance Company
During this roundtable, Mack made a presentation to share the APFF activities and identified regulatory, accounting, market and operational issues and high-level recommendations on promoting long-term investment, including infrastructure on half of the APFF.
Mack also made some remarks to update APFF activities on disaster risk financing during the OECD-ADBI Seminar on Disaster Risk Financing in Asia.
