The Asia-Pacific Financial Forum (APFF) convened the 2016 ASIA PACIFIC FINANCIAL FORUM HIGH-LEVEL SYMPOSIUM “Public-Private Collaboration to Develop APEC Financial Markets – Achievements and Way Forward” in Shenzhen, China, on August 1, 2016. It included the two sessions: Financial Innovation and its potential for promoting financial inclusion and market efficacy, and Building a robust enabling ecosystem for inclusive financial innovation, and covered a wide range of Fin-tech and Reg-tech related topics throughout the day.
Mack participated in the SESSION III: HOW CAN WE ENABLE THE INSURANCE AND PENSION SECTORS TO PLAY THEIR PROPER ROLES IN THE REGION’S FINANCIAL SYSTEMS?.
The panel was moderated by Ms. Vanessa Wang, Hong Kong Retirement Scheme Association.
Ms Laura Winwood, Assistant Vice President, Government Affairs, Citi, served as Rapporteur for the session.
During this roundtable, Mack made an overview presentation on Key issues in expanding the region’s long-term investor base and promoting more resilient societies.
