The OECD and Asian Development Bank Institute (ADBI) jointly organized the 19th Tokyo Roundtable on Capital Market and Financial Reform in Asia on 26-27 February 2019 at the ADBI in Tokyo, Japan, in co-operation with the Japanese Government.
The Tokyo Roundtable offered a forum for regulators, policy-makers, experts, scholars, private sector and international organisations to discuss issues relating to capital market and financial reform in Asia, including aging, capital market development, digital technologies, as well as quality infrastructure investments and ESG.

On Day One, on aging topics, Mack mentioned new APFF focus on sustainable healthcare, digital pensions and ESG. In particular, he emphasized a paradigme shift of life insurers toward contributions to improve health of consumers, and thru ESG to incentivize employers with a good health program for employees.
On Day Two, on ESG topics, Mack shared updates on our initiatives in the APEC, and on the G20 under Japanese presidency, including Insurance Forum 2019 and Music for SDGs Project with a planned musical to educate the general public on SDGs and selected G20 priorities.
