The 5th International China International Summit took place in Shanghai, China, on September 21-22, 2017.
The conference, hosted by Shine Consulting, was joined by 186 senior executives from government agencies, industry associations, insurers, consultants, asset management companies, research firms, brokers, IT companies, etc. to discuss core issues, including regulatory reforms, asset allocation, risk management, IT technology, among others.

In Stream A – Insurance Asset Management Forum, Mack participated as a keynote speaker on “Insurers’ Long-Term Investments to Support Sustainable Growth and Development” which included the following topics:

Asset allocation and risk management under low-interest rate environment

Infrastructure investments and capital market development

Regulatory and accounting issues

Mack’s presentation focused on the APFF activities to expand long-term investors’ base (including retirement, infrastructure investments, regulations and accounting issues) as well as experience of Japanese life insurers under a low-interest environment.
