Mack sang Japanese Anime songs in French, at Piano Bar Cozy, Meguro, Tokyo, on August 5 2016. Noriko Sunamoto kindly played keyboard for the night.

Noriko Sunamoto is a music director, composer, arranger, orchestrator and pianist from Japan. Noriko works for several Off-Broadway musical theater such as “702 Punchlines and Pregnant: The Jackie Mason Musical”, “Rapunzarella White” and “Triangle The Musical” as a musical director and pianist. Her original Disney-style musical/dance performance “OMOTENASHI Journey” has been performed at such venues as New York’s Carnegie Hall and Bandshell, Central Park.

Mack gave a Mensa Lecture in collaboration with OMOTENASHI JOURNEY, July 21 2016 in New York

In collaboration with OMOTENASHI JOURNEY, Mack delivered a lecture on global communication for the Mensa Thursday Lecture Series, organized by the Greater New York Mensa, hosted by the Microsoft Flagship Store on Fifth Avenue, New York on July 21, 2016.

Mack shared his views on the limitation of the language and demonstrate how the language may affect the way people think and communicate, and discuss global communication beyond culture and nationalities. He start his lecture from demonstration of 20 English accents as an ice breaker.

As a part of this lecture, the audience enjoyed the Disney-like musical performance of OMOTENASHI JOURNEY, a group of talented dancers or singers.

“OMOTENASHI” means warmth, understanding, respect, gratitude and kindness, and is also known as the slogan for the 2020 Olympic Games in Japan. The musical project aims to introduce the hospitality of the Japanese culture to the world through the diversity. This concept is consistent with Mack’s key messages on global communication beyond language.
