During the session 3: EXCO Dialogue, Mack took a microphone from the floor, and stressed the need for a regulatory design to incentivise insurers to invest assets with growth potential and to distinguish the different role of insurers as goal keepers in macroprudential measures.

Duting the session 6: Climate Change and Climate-related Risk, Mack commented on sustainable investing, and emphasized the importance of taking a balance of environment, social and economic aspects in promoting ESG investments. Mack also took this opportunity to inform the participants of the ABAC’s approval of our progress report to APEC Finance Ministers, including the promotion of insurers’ role to support sustainable, resilient and inclusive growth of the APEC region.
