The ASSAL (Asociación de Supervisores de Seguros de América Latina) convened the XXVII Annual Conference in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil on April 18-21, 2016.
All the Latin American supervisors together with Spain, Portugal, US supervisors gathered to discuss key issues on insurance.

Mack made a remark in Spanish to update the work of APFF Insurance and Retirement Income Work Stream to promote long-term investments and longevity solutions of insurers and pension funds, and encouraged the coordination between Latin America and Asia Pacific, given the fact that Peru chairs the APEC this year.
